We are…

Aiken Singers is a non-auditioned community adult choir, based in Aiken, South Carolina. We provide an opportunity for enthusiastic amateur singers in Aiken County and surrounding areas to come together and ‘share the joy of singing’, both with each other and with the local community. Our primary mission is to take our music into retirement communities and nursing homes to bring joyful musical experiences to our local seniors, and we perform at least 4 such outreach performances per season. We also present two major public performances per year, in the Holiday (Winter) season and in Spring.

Our Director choses a broad range of songs of all styles, but mostly from the lighter side of music, with golden oldies and familiar popular songs alongside some jazz standards, gospel favorites, patriotic numbers, and musical theater pieces. Singing in a choir is not only good for us physically and emotionally, but also for the community by bringing people together. And it’s a chance to have a lot of fun while learning beautiful music!

Use the menus shown above to learn more about us.  You’ll be able to find details about our organization, how to join us, see some videos taken at our performances, and find out how to get in touch with us.
